Delivering locally-caught fish from the Sussex Coast to all around the UK, Brighton & Newhaven Fish Sales required a number of temperature controlled vans to make sure their produce stays fresh. The company have a number of boats bringing high-quality fish and shellfish that are sustainably caught around the Sussex shoreline.

We have been working with Brighton & Newhaven Fish Sales for a number of years now, doing van conversions and repair work on their vehicles. As a result, we’ve built up a good relationship with them and we fully understand their needs and expectations. Our most recent work for them was a box van conversion that was designed to specifically meet their requirements.

After initially listening to the customer’s needs and requirements, Rex Limited were able to convert a van with the right specifications to meet their requirements. The chassis base vehicle they ordered arrived with us. Then we were able to design and build a quality box to sit on the rear. It was complete with metal framework, drains holes and pull out steps. It also was fitted with a Twin Fan Metal Evap GAH refrigeration unit.

We ensured that we gave the Director of Brighton and Newhaven Fish Sales, Charlie Brock, regular updates throughout the conversion process. They were delighted to receive delivery of the vehicle to increase their fleet to help keep up with demand throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic.
