Korkers Sausages – TES Food Supplies are based in Sevenoaks, Kent. They have been proud and trusted suppliers of Premium Pork products since 1951. They supply different types of traditional and fancy sausages and burgers including honey roast, sage & onion and even chilli – which might warm you up a bit this cold winter! Steve came to Rex wanting a freezer conversion on a Peugeot Boxer and required certain specifications to ensure that the produce remained in perfect condition. As any food supplier would know, it is essential that your produce is kept at the correct temperature when being transported for it to remain fresh, edible, and enticing.

As Steve is going to be using and walking in the van daily, we also needed to make sure that the van was safe to walk in, being a freezer van, it can get slippery, so we included non-slip floors to aid walking. Load lock restraints and shoring poles were also included in this conversion allowing the produce to remain secure during transportation. We also added included curtains at the side and rear doors, this addition is to help keep the core temperature within the van whilst he makes deliveries.

We installed a GAH SRF351 unit with standby in order to ensure the produce was kept as low as -20 degrees even when the engine is off, and the refrigeration system is plugged into the mains.
